I know, I know.  We live in a northern climate.

Marquette County is always known for two seasons…Winter and Construction.  But come on!!

It’s Spring by the calendar!  No more snow!  C’mon…say it with me!  No more snow!

I mean take a look at the parking lot outside of the studio this morning, all dusted up with fresh snow!  FEH!!

Randy Girard, Marquette Township Manager and Dennis Liimatta, Marquette Township Supervisor stopped in at the Sunny Studios this morning to preview a special event coming up on April 16th at the Vandenboom School.  They shared the purpose of the event and how folks can take part.

It’s a community based event that features live music, refreshments and a chance for Marquette Township residents to find out more about the future planning vision for the Township.

ANOTHER SPECIAL EVENT IS IN THE WORKS.

 

EVENT ORGANIZER AND MUSICIAN ROGER RHODES.

Roger Rhodes, Organizer of the Care Clinic Benefit Concert, joined Mark & Walt today to outline the event.  It is being held this Saturday at the Lake Superior Christian Church near the Crossroads on M-553.

The event features several musical acts and gets underway at 6-pm.
