IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR!

Sometimes there are a few signs that the winter season is passing for another year.  Now, of course, I know that this warm stretch we are in right now with 40-plus temperatures will not last long and we are sure to get smacked by at least one or two major winter storms before the year is over.  I mean, we always talk about the dreaded “St. Patty’s Day Storm” or the “April Fool’s Day Blizzard” with some fear and trepidation.  They have happened before and chances are that they will happen again.  So don’t put that snow shovel or snowblower away yet!

MAKING MUSIC TO MAKE SOME TRAVELIN’ MONEY!

THE SIGHT OF MUSIC!

Janis Peterson, Director of the Marquette Senior High School Orchestra and Choir joined Mark and Walt recently to talk about a series of concerts and musical events that are being held to help the group raise funds for an upcoming trip to Europe.  She filled us in on when the group will be traveling and where they will be visiting and performing.  She also explained why the fund raising efforts suddenly became necessary when the airline involved raised the ticket fees due to an increase in fuel expenses.  To find out more about the trip as well the remaining musical concerts and how you can help out in the effort to raise the needed cash, please click “HERE” to listen to the complete interview with Janis.
