Kristina Balzarini came in from the cold this morning to let us know about a couple of special events being put on by Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan. The first is this Friday and is being held at the UpFront & Company Banquet Hall. It’s the Frostbite Festival and will feature a night’s worth of live musical entertainment and a silent auction. It gets underway at 7-pm and tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth.

The next event she told us about was the Jack Rabbit Snow Show Challenge on January 21st in Harvey. The event will feature a series of snowshoe races for those who want to get involved. Proceeds raised at both events will benefit Teaching Family Homes and you can call 249-KIDS or click here.
