Brian Olson, president of the Marquette County Pigs n’ Heat Fire Relief Fund came by the Sunny Studios with Charlie Enright, a “Heat” team member with the Negaunee City Fire Department, to chat about the Pigs n’ Heat Charity Hockey Game going on this Wednesday evening at 7-pm at Lakeview Arena in Marquette.  The proceeds raised will fill the coffers of the Pigs n’ Heat Fire Relief Fund which helps those in our community who are displaced by the tragedy of fire.  Click “HERE” for the interview and “HERE” for more info.

Yes…the rumors are true, I WILL be jumping into Sawyer Lake this Saturday morning as part of the annual Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics.  You can keep an eye here on the blog for more details, and I will be looking to YOU to step up an provide the financial support for my jump.  You can also leave me ideas for a costume in the comment section of our blog, so I look forward to hearing from you!
