Snow! Snow! Snow!

Snow! Snow! Snow!

It may look like this (or worse) pretty soon around here.  The National Weather Service has issued a full-blast Winter Storm Warning for our area starting around 1-am tomorrow and running through Thursday morning.  Up to 18 inches of snow is predicted in certain areas and wind gusts of up to 50 miles an hour.

HOO BOY!  Best gas up the plow and grease up the snowblower…Heikki Lunta’s comin’ back to town and I think he’s peeved!  Hold on kids, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!!

The King, The Queen & The Good Doctor!

The King, The Queen & The Good Doctor!

Thanks to NMU Theater Director James Panowski and theater students and cast members Benjamen Flilipowicz and Arianne Hakkola stopping by to tell us about the latest production at the NMU Forest Roberts Theater.  The group is mounting a massive production of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s “CINDERELLA“.

Dr. Panowski shared a few insights into the 100-member production, Filipowicz told us about playing the “King” in the show and Hakkola shared her experiences as playing the role of the “Queen”.  The show debuts tonight at the FRT and is SOLD OUT through it’s run.  Listen to the interviews “HERE” and maybe you won’t feel left out if you can’t get a ticket.

James say "YUMMMM!"

James say "CHOW, BABY!"

Remember, our SEVERE WEATHER COVERAGE is brought to you by the fine folks at UP Home Health and Hospice, and we thank them for their support.   So until we meet again, as our very own James O. says (and you can see here),     “CHOW!”
