LOOK OUT! Big man flying solo!

Lots of good, solid community information on the show today including an update on the 45th Annual Negaunee Invitational Basketball Tournament and a relatively positive report on the state of the current business climate in Marquette County from the Lake Superior Community Partnership.  I also had the chance to fly the ship solo for a while, and it’s been a while to say the least!.

Lance Peterson with the Negaunee Invitational Basketball Tournament.

Thanks to Lance Peterson stopping in to give us an early update on the 45th Annual NIT.  It sounds like it’s shaping up to be another hit.  If you’ve never taken in any of the NIT, you should make it a part of your springtime activities.  It’s worth it.  If you are interested about the event, or would be looking into putting together a team, click “HERE” to get to the group’s website.

LSCP ISSUES POSITIVE MARQUETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC REPORT.

LSCP's Amy Clickner

LSCP's Amy Clickner

Speaking of “clicking”, or more specifically “CLICKNER”…Amy Clickner from the Lake Superior Community Partnership came by this morning to talk about a survey they just released that shows that a majority of Marquette  County businesses are holding their own and some are actually showing some improvement during these challenging economic times.  It was certainly refreshing to have a fact-based economic discussion that was not all doom and gloom.  You can get connected to the partnership’s website by clicking “HERE“.

Be sure to join us tomorrow for a fully booked show with lots of good stuff to get you ready for the weekend!

Ciao…….
