YOU NEED AT LEAST THREE RADIOS TO KEEP UP WITH THIS MORNING SHOW!

Sometimes you feel like a soldier in the US Army when you listen to Mark & Walt in the Morning, because we get more things done by 10-am than many radio stations accomplish ALL DAY!  Today’s show was a prime example of that.  A sterling mix of community information, exclusive interviews with newsmakers and your favorite music along with two windbags moving hot air like it’s going out of style!

Thanks to Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm for taking a few minutes out of her busy schedule to chat with me about some of the issues making the news in our area.  We talked about the latest in governmental financial support for the Founder’s Landing development in Marquette as well as the effort to house out-of-state prisoners in Michigan’s slated-to-close prison facilities.  More items were also discussed, and to listen to the exclusive interview with the Governor, click “HERE“.

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

Whew!  on that jam-packed note, I think it’s time to say Good-Bye to you and hope you have a safe weekend and watch out for all of the new folks in the Marquette area (NMU Students and their well-meaning but still lost parents!)  It was only 23 years ago when I made my first steps on the Northern Michigan University campus as a freshman.  It seems like only yesterday.  BUT IT WASN’T!!!  AND I’M GETTING OLD!

Be good, or at least, be careful!
