MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Winter made it’s return to Marquette County and surrounding communities with a vengeance overnight.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect along the coastline until 7 o’clock tonight.

On top of that bit of fun, a Blizzard Warning has been posted for Alger County until 10 o’clock tonight!  Lake effect snow showers and winds out of the north/northwest at 40 to 50 mph!  Wahooo!

Definitely a wintry blast to get us all back on track with the season.  If you are traveling today, please do it with caution if you are driving along the Lake Superior shoreline.

Better safe than  sorry!
