Thanks to the distinguished gentleman from the West End, State Senator Mike Prusi for coming in to talk about the latest developments in Lansing concerning the state budget and all of the other headaches and political machinations contained therein.  Although things are difficult at this time for the State Legislature and the Governor, Mike said he was definitely looking forward to the firearms deer season to “get away” for a little while.  To gain some of the senator’s perspective on the issues, listen in to Senator Prusi’s interview and please click “HERE“.

Special thanks to Lisa Temple for letting us know about the “Music is the Medicine” Benefit Concert coming up in early December to benefit Marquette County resident Colleen Madigan.  The Concert will feature live music by Anthony Gomes and the New Soul Cowboys, Biscuit Miller and the MIX, the Flat Broke Blues Band and the Red River Runners.  There will also be a silent auction as well as more.  To listen to Lisa’s interview, and to find out how you can get involved with this effort by making a donation, buying a ticket or any other way, please click “HERE“.
