SUNNY 101.9 and BioLife staff present the gifts to the Jacobetti Veterans.

Those words filled the halls of the Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette this morning as we delivered all of your gifts to the veterans who live at the home.  It was a great wrap-up to our annual effort to  “Remember Our Veterans At Christmas”.

Thanks to the support of Biolife Plasma Services of Marquette, we were able to get the message out to all of you about the need for simple, yet important, items needed at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans.

Delivering the several boxes of items and your financial contributions to the home was wonderful, as was watching the reactions of the veterans.

During the Holidays, we remember to help out those in need, but it’s also important to keep in mind that need knows no season.  The Jacobetti Home for Veterans is constantly facing an uphill battle for funding for items, programs and more.  Take the time to find out more about the home and how you can help!
