So much can be inferred by the above words…stumbly, bumbly and mumbly starts to the workweek.   Perhaps a  hungover, over-footballed and grainy headache-ridden early morning.  How about a red, bleary-eyed tribute to a weekend of excess and overindulgence?  How about none of the above?  How about a good feeling?  How about good news?  How about that?  How about a record crowd at Marquette’s Lakeview Arena for the “Paint The Rink Pink” Game on Saturday?  How about a Rangers win over arch-rival Alpena?  How about a ton of money raised for breast cancer research and recovery efforts at Marquette General Health Systems?  Nice work, folks!  Well done, Marquette County!  You should be proud!

Thanks to Dr. Tawni Ferrarini from Northern Michigan University to tell us about an upcoming seminar that is targeted at area youth from the 6th to 12th grades to teach them about financial responsibility, economic planning and the rewards of good fiscal management.  This program is designed for youth and takes a fairly wide-reaching and daunting topic and delivers it at an age appropriate level.  The seminar will feature speaker D.J.
