IT’S ANOTHER FRIDAY MORNING ACROSS THE WOODED PLAIN!

Y’know, there was a time in my life that a Marquette County Friday meant a couple of days off and some down time.  It’s certainly not the case anymore.  This weekend it’s Northern Michigan University graduation, weddings, meetings and more!!  When did life end up getting so busy?  Please…tell me.  I’d like to know!

HELPING KIDS WALK TO SCHOOL.

KIDS ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL!

KIDS ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL!

Thanks to Lynn Krahn and Warren Rauhe with the Safe Routes to School program for chatting about this initiative that has been happening at three area schools in Marquette County, Birchview Elementary in Ishpeming, Lakeview Elementary in Negaunee, and Gilbert Elementary in Gwinn. The goal of Safe Routes to School is to remove the barriers that prevent school children from walking or biking to school by creating safe, walk-able routes to school.  Click “HERE” for their interview.

THE WEEKEND IS HERE!

Have a great weekend!   If you are graduating from NMU, MTU or beloved old FU, enjoy this time in your life and be safe!  We’ll catch up on Monday Morning!

See Ya!
