Eight years ago today, the world as we knew it then, changed completely.  The world that we know now was created in a trio of violent explosions on a clear, beautiful morning.  I am not going to belabor the politics of it, nor am I thinking about crackpot conspiracist theories about the attacks.  I am simply saying, after these eight years, never forget.

Never forget the shock.  Never forget the pain.  Never forget the way we felt as a nation as we recovered from that morning.  Never forget how YOU felt that day!

Use that feeling and use that energy today in a positive way.  Don’t use it to hate and destroy what you don’t know.  Use the energy to listen and learn.  Use it to foster good, solid friendships and use it to look for the inherent good in ALL people.

Try not to hate.  It’s easier to appreciate!!
