PRESENTING THE CHECK TO THE MARQUETTE WOMEN’S CENTER!!

HAIL! HAIL! THE GANG' S ALL HERE!!

HAIL! HAIL! THE GANG' S ALL HERE!!

For a while this morning, it got a bit crowded in the studios of Marquette County’s favorite Morning Show.  Folks from Flanigan’s, BioLife, Rodney’s Pizza, Great Lakes Radio and the Marquette Women’s Center all piled in for the formal presentation of the financial contribution to the Women’s Center that was raised at the recent Great Lakes Radio golf outing put on by all of these businesses and agencies.  As you can see here, the studios got pretty filled up, but it was all for an excellent cause.  The check for a total of $1,500.00 was presented by Great Lakes Radio to the Women’s Center and they will use the money for continued programming of services designed to help and support area residents whose lives have been touched by domestic violence.

PRESENTING THE CHECK!

PRESENTING THE CHECK!

Here you can see Great Lakes Radio Owner and General Manager Todd Noordyk  presenting the check to the Women’s Center Interim Director Phyllis Loonsfoot.  Also in the shot is Rodney Filizetti of Rodney’s Pizza, Pam & Don Marple of Flanigan’s Bar, and Kerry Hongisto of BioLife Plasma Services.  Thanks to all of the sponsors as well as Chasin’ Steel and the Flat Broke Blues Band for performing at the post-scramble party at Flanigan’s.

SMILIN' BILL TIBOR!

SMILIN' BILL TIBOR!

A special congratulations to all who competed in the golf outing, which took place on one of the most disgustingly cold and windy days ever experienced at that time of year!  A well-deserved tip of the hat also goes out to Great Lakes Radio’s Bill Tibor who organized the entire event!  WELL DONE EVERYBODY!!
