EVENT ORGANIZER BILL TIBOR.

The outing is scheduled for a shotgun start at 9-am on Saturday, June 5-th at Gentz’s golf course.  It is a 4-person scramble and players will get pizza at the turn from Rodney’s Pizza as well as general golf-related frivolity and verbal abuse from competing teams.  The charge is $65.00 per person.  There is also a post-round cookout and party at Flanigan’s with live music from Chasin’ Steel and The Three Wisemen.  To register, please call 228-6800, and ask to sign up for the Golf Outing.  For more on the event itself and how to get involved, please click “HERE” to listen to an interview with event organizer Bill Tibor from Great Lakes Radio.

This year’s golf outing is benefitting Willow Farms Therapeutic Riding in Harvey.  Willow Farm Therapeutic Riding’s mission is to promote and enhance the welfare of individuals with disabilities by providing a program of therapeutic, educational and recreational value, and further, to empower individuals who are mentally, physically, emotionally and/or socially challenged through the use of horses, while providing therapeutic benefits in a safe and controlled atmosphere bringing those involved to better health, happiness, confidence and quality of life.  For more about the programs and how to get involved, click “HERE” to listen to an interview with Linda Mallon and Annie Higley with the program.
